As the owner of Earth Touch Therapies,LLC, Pattie Smetana is a licensed massage therapist with 40 years experience in bodywork. Having been a former Midwife and Doula Pattie  works with clients of all ages – Infants through adults including pregnant women and seniors.  She is a trained Expert Level MyoFascial Release (MFR) Practitioner in the John Barnes Method  Her first MFR class was in 2004.  Pattie has  trained in several modalities of Energy work and is a Postural Alignment Specialist (PAS) with the Egoscue Method.  Pattie has trained in Lymph drainage,the Muscle Release Technique, acupressure, and Swedish. She also incorporates her studies of Chi Gong, Tai Chi, and Movement  into her sessions when needed.

        Pattie has taught MFR, Energy Work, Tai Chi, Chi Gong, Swedish massage, Perinatal Bodywork, Couples Pregnancy Massage, Equine Massage and Bodywork, Canine Bodywork, Bonne Femme Childbirth Classes for Home Birth Couples, Western Riding, Horse Safety, and  Postural Alignment classes. She is now offering a class called Balance for Health, which incorporates posture, mindfulness, movement and myofascial techniques.  This class is being offered thru adult education and at Mary Cruise's Healing Arts Center.

        Several Clinics hosting National and International instructors have been at her facility, Hold Yer Horses, in Ashland, Missouri.  There she offers equine bodywork and balanced riding lessons.  Pattie has also hosted clinics on balanced riding and groundwork at her barn. 

        Pattie uses her skills and knowledge in MyoFascial Release, Energy Work, Massage, and Postural Exercises to help clients relax and work towards goals of being pain free, so they can enjoy life and bring harmony to mind body and spirit.
